WWII World War 2 US Army Air Force Uniform Shirts Pants and Tie

This listing is for a WWII World War 2 US Army Air Force Uniform. This uniform includes two shirts, one pair of pants and a tie. This listing is the second half of the full uniform (I have another listing with the first half). The shirt you see in the first and second pictures has stains and a number of small holes all over the shirt (some of the holes are most likely from moths). There are some holes from wear at the neck edge and both air force patches have thin spots and one of the patches has a hole in it (these are not the patches that I took pictures of).

There is a spot on the left sleeve that has been fixed with some stitching. There is some pen writing on the inside of the collar; this may be what the writing says (since the writing is hard to read): B-3497. This shirt has approximately 19 inches from shoulder to shoulder, 24 inches from armpit to armpit, 18 inches from the armpit to the end of the cuff and is approximately 32 1/2 inches long from the bottom edge of the neck cuff to the bottom edge of the shirt. This shirt has a nice crisp feel to it. The shirt you see in the fourth and fifth pictures has two missing patches on the left sleeve.

This shirt has stains and some small holes. There is a small amount of thread coming undone at the ends of both of the sleeves. There is some wear and holes at the neck edge. There is a tag that says: 15, 32.

This shirt has approximately 18 inches from shoulder to shoulder, 23 1/2 inches from armpit to armpit, 19 1/2 inches from the armpit to the end of the cuff and is approximately 32 inches long from the bottom edge of the neck cuff to the bottom edge of the shirt. This shirt is somewhat crisp, but not as crisp as the first shirt; it has more of a fuzzy feel like wool would have. The tie has stains, a hole and some wear from use. There is pen writing on the inside of the larger end of the tie, which says: K: 205. This tie is approximately 46 inches long.

The pants have stains and lots of holes. There is a 1/2 of an inch long by 1/4 of an inch wide hole at the top of the back left pocket. The left front pocket edge has approximately a 3 5/16 inch long area that has been fixed with stitching. There is some fraying and thread that has come undone on the inside of the hem at the bottom of the right pant leg and there is a 1 3/4 inch long hole at the bottom edge of this same pant leg.

There is some fraying on the inside of the hem at the bottom of the left pant leg and a small hole along the bottom edge of this same pant leg. There is quite a bit of pen writing on the inside of these pants.

The waist of these pants is approximately 32 1/2 inches in circumference and these pants are approximately 41 inches long. There is a tag on the inside of these pants that says: Lafayette Pants Co. W-669-qm-17213, Dated April 4, 1942, Stock No. Depot, (then there is a line with the word "Inspector" underneath it). Please let me know if you have any questions.
