THESE ITEMS ARE PART OF HISTORY AND ARE ALL 100 YEARS OLD! Several items are dated either 1917 or 1918, and top garments are approximately a size 36 or 38 with no sizing located on items. Overcoat is stamped 4 1/2 on inside liner in shoulder/armpit area, has 7 large (missing one) and 5 small eagle buttons made by American Button Co. Newark NJ (2 large ones on back belt are Scoville). Contract June 28, 1917, Spec No.

Tunic/Jacket has 5 large and 6 small eagle buttons made by Scoville Mfg. Waterbury, a bronze US Army collar disc and two crossed rifles collar disc located on collar. Inside lining has tag which says BERNHEIM, Contract June 21, 1917, Specification No.

New York Depot, US TAVE BARNETT. Inside top left lining has handwritten 08162.

Pants are approximately a 31 waist, inside left pocket has tag reading KALAMAZOO PANT CO. 2398-6 April 26, 1918, Specification No. Large top metal button to button pants says US ARMY and 4 small ones say USA.

Hat has handwritten on inside leather CURLY PRYDE, has blue tassles, has inside tags underneath leather with a 7 1/4 size, THE UNITED HATTERS OF NORTH AMERICA, 23, Union Made Registered. There is more writing inside of leather brim but I can't make out what it says. Two canvas lace-up leggings with metal tip laces have stamps which are faded and illegible. 12 25 06 is on metal strap. Two spiral rolled puttees/ leggings have no markings and are VERY long. Long johns are marked Wilson Bros 40 chest trunk 64. They have 9 front buttons and trap door with one button.

Round heavy metal spring loaded item has no markings measuring 2. I don't know what it was used for & found with his uniform. All items are from Curly Pryde's estate true WWI items.

Condition varies from good to poor with more information below. The 12 WWI items vary from good to poor condition. KEEP IN MIND THESE ITEMS ARE 100 YEARS OLD AND WERE USED IN WW1!!! I will not be noting every single imperfection, just the obvious ones.

Trench coat is in rough shape missing one button, has large rip inside right pocket through front of jacket 6 across, dirty inside liner, and inside armpits have part of lining which needs resewing. Tunic looks good with no rips or tears. All button areas excellent and jacket is solid. It does have quite a few small moth holes primarily on sleeves and a 1/2 moth hole lower right pocket.

Pants & belt are nice with no rips or tears. Pockets, laced bottoms & button area excellent. It does have a major moth problem in crotch area but other areas are good minus a tiny moth hole here or there. Shirt is good with no rips or tears with all buttons present.

Just shows wear typical of age. Long Johns are good with no holes, rips, or tears. All buttons present just stains in armpit area. Hat looks good with nice color and soft leather inside band.

It has random moth bites but no holes going through. Canvas metal hook leggings are good with no rips or tears.

All metal hooks present and metal end string 100% intact. They are dirty as you would expect and wear on long top canvas part which goes through metal strap. Two green spiral rolled puttees look good with some moth damage inside. I didn't open each roll but there is no separation that I found, just moth damage heavy in one spot.
