The shirt has several plastic buttons, (1) American Red Cross First Aid Patch, and (1) period MSHP shoulder patch. The shirt and pants in this set do include size tags, but since they are almost 70 years old they could have shank. As such, I have not tried to measure these items and suggest that they are best for display and not for wearing.
The man who wore this uniform was an approximately 6'2 tall World. War II-veteran from Kansas City Missouri named Harold Spencer King. After he left the military he worked as a police officer for a short time before joining the MSHP. He left the MSHP in the late 1950s to work as a private investigator for a local law firm.
