Original 1960's "Beo Gam" camo uniform (shirt/jacket & pants). This set looks to have been made by CISO. Counterinsurgency Support Office in Okinawa. The tag in the pants says A-M (Asian Medium) & the tag in the shirt is mostly missing, but likely Asian-Medium. During his career in the US Army Major Paramore was awarded, among others; 2x Silver Stars, 2x Bronze Stars & 1x Purple Heart.
Major Paramore was also Ranger, Airborne & Pathfinder qualified. During his first tour in Vietnam (July, 1966-February, 1967) Lt. Paramore was a platoon leader with the 199th Infantry, Company A 4th/12th, as part of their LRRP team. On February 6, 1967 Lt. Paramore was wounded in action & sent back to the US to recover from his injuries.
Paramore subsequintly became an instructor at the Ranger school located at Ft. Both the shirt & pants have the name "Hall" written in them, so they where probably something that was re-issued to Major Paramore. The pants do have some discoloration to them, along with a tear near the button fly (please see photos).
